FALKIRK MOD SHOP OPENS IN THE MALL

Falkirk West MSP Michael Matheson formally opened the shop, which occupies a unit in The Mall, Howgate on the mezzanine level (level 3). Local Falkirk West MSP Michael Matheson said: "I was delighted to accept the local Mod Committee's invitation to open the Mod shop in The Mall, Howgate. This fantastic facility will act as a focal point in the weeks up to and during the event. I'm sure that it will prove to be a great success and would urge all those who are interested in the Mod to pay it a visit." A wide range of high quality souvenirs of the Royal National Mod will be on sale along with programmes for the competitions and Feis (Fringe). Opening hours will be 10.30am to 3pm daily, but more volunteers are needed to help run the shop.
