WARRIORS TO THE RESCUE

                           

As part of the Royal National Mod celebrations being held in Falkirk next week, the local Mod committee had arranged a football match between Falkirk FC and Glasgow Island, a team of Hebridean exiles playing in Glasgow.

When Falkirk fc had to pull out of the match last week, Stenhousemuir came to the Mod's rescue by offering to step in and replace Falkirk at very short notice.

The match, which is being played for the Mod Cup, will kick off this Saturday (11th October) at Ochilview, Stenhousemuir at 11am.

There are no tickets for the Mod Cup match. It's just pay at the gate, with all profits going to charity.
